We're excited to be back at Southwestern Illinois College for the third year!
Region 12 Student Registration (to be completed by the student)
Registration for 2026 must be completed by February 15, 2026. See link below.
Note that students will need to register themselves as "Students" via Zfairs using the link below and will upload a PDF of their abstract and safety form(s). Sponsors need to register first using the link below and the "Teacher" option.

All schools participating in the fair are required to send one judge for every three projects.

Tentative Schedule (check back for updates)
- 8 AM Doors open (Enter through Door H)
- 8:15 AM Judges' Meeting room MC1440
- 8-9 AM Project set up in Varsity Gymnasium
- Continental breakfast available in the cafeteria for student participants
- 9:00 AM Welcome Announcement
- 9 AM -12 PM Judging
- Project Session Judging in Varsity Gymnasium
- Only students, judges and fair personnel are allowed in the judging area
- Others can wait in the SWIC cafeteria
- Paper Session Judging in MC 1360
- Only participating students and judges will be allowed in the presentation room
- Project Session Judging in Varsity Gymnasium
- 12ish (listen for announcements) Participants dismissed for lunch
- Lunch
- SWIC has generously donated box lunches (deli sandwich, two cookies, bottle of water) for all the students in the SWIC cafeteria.
- Off-campus with parents/guardians
- 12-2:30 PM Score finalization (fair staff)
- 12:30-3:00 PM Poster Viewing for the public in the Varsity Gymnasium
- Posters may be removed at 3:00 or after the awards ceremony
- Trivia Contest & other activities in the gymnasium leading up to the awards ceremony
- Lunch
- 3:30 PM Awards Ceremony in the varsity gymnasium

SWIC Cafeteria Offerings

The SWIC cafeteria will not be open this year but there will be a free continental breakfast served in the cafeteria for participants and fair volunteers.
