We look forward to being back at Southwestern Illinois College for the fourth year!
We have moved our date earlier to accommodate the SWIC schedule. We hope this will also enable more students to participate in 2027.

All schools participating in the fair are required to send one judge for every three projects.

Tentative Schedule (check back for updates)
- 8 AM Doors open (Enter through Door H)
- 8:15 AM Judges' Meeting room MC1440
- 8-9 AM Project set up in Varsity Gymnasium
- Continental breakfast available in the cafeteria for student participants
- 9:00 AM Welcome Announcement
- 9 AM -12 PM Judging
- Project Session Judging in Varsity Gymnasium
- Only students, judges and fair personnel are allowed in the judging area
- Others can wait in the SWIC cafeteria
- Paper Session Judging in MC 1360
- Only participating students and judges will be allowed in the presentation room
- Project Session Judging in Varsity Gymnasium
- 12ish (listen for announcements) Participants dismissed for lunch
- Lunch
- SWIC will again provide box lunches (sandwich, chips, cookie, drink) for judges and students
- A SWIC student club may be selling lunches for families and guests as a fundraiser in the SWIC cafeteria.
- 12-2:30 PM Score finalization (fair staff)
- Time TBD SWIC Campus Tours
- 12:30-3:00 PM Poster Viewing for the public in the Varsity Gymnasium
- Posters may be removed at 3:00 or after the awards ceremony
- Trivia Contest & other activities in the gymnasium leading up to the awards ceremony
- Lunch
- 3:30 PM Awards Ceremony in the varsity gymnasium

SWIC Cafeteria Offerings

The SWIC cafeteria will not be open this year but there will be a free continental breakfast served in the cafeteria for participants and fair volunteers.
